Virat Kohli becomes first batsman to complete 500 runs against an opposition in T20Is

The run-machine has reached another landmark as Indian skipper Virat Kohli becomes the first batsman to compete 500+ runs against an opposition in T20I cricket. The explosive batsman reached the feat in the 1st T20I against Australia in Visakhapatnam. He has now scored 503 runs against Australia in T20Is.
Closest to Kohli, is New Zealand powerhouse Martin Guptill who has scored 463 runs against Pakistan, followed by P Stirling (461) against Afghanistan. However, Guptill has also scored 424 against South Africa.
Most runs vs an opponent in T20Is:
503 V Kohli vs Aus *
463 M Guptill vs Pak
461 P Stirling vs Afg
436 M Shahzad vs Ire
425 A Finch vs Eng

Earlier,  Mayank Markande made his T20I debut for India in the series opener against Australia in Visakhapatnam. The right-handed leggie impressed heavily in the 2017/18 season of the IPL for the Mumbai Indians which now sees him don the blue jersey of India.
Also, the Indian team on Sunday wore black armbands as a mark of respect in the memory of the CRPF personnel, who were martyred in a dastardly terror attack in Pulwama last week.
There has been talks in some quarters about India boycotting the June 16 World Cup group league game against Pakistan and the skipper has said that the team will "abide by any decision that the government takes".
