Exam Stress: How to manage it efficiently

Has exam stress got the best of you? Are you worried about your performance in board examinations to such an extent that it hampers your concentration power? If the answer is yes, you need to breathe in and breathe out. While we believe that saying so is easier than followed in real life, these tips are really going to help you in the long-run. Here are some expert tips that are proved to have worked with the students appearing for examinations.
De-clutter your desk and room. A messy room will only mess up with your mind. Turns out that something your mother says is actually beneficial for your mental peace.
Take breaks and do something for leisure. Spending time on your smartphones for leisure might not be of great help. As you may have heard umpteen times, the bright light of your smartphone screen will only tire your eyes even more. For a starter, you can read your favourite book for leisure or can play outside to untwine your mind.
Cut down on your sugar intake. While you love few extra cups of beverages during those stressful exam times, you may want to cut down on sugars a bit. Researchers have confirmed that sugar intake makes you feel more stressed.
Think about happy times. Thinking about happy memories triggers a chemical reaction in our body which releases serotonin. It creates a sense of well-being and helps your brain function at its maximum capacity.
Sit in sunlight for 10-15 minutes. Vitamin D is more important for us than we give it credits for. Exposure to sunlight also increase serotonin levels in our body.
