New Delhi: It was a Tuesday with a twist as the CBI vs CBI story took a new turn with the Supreme Court quashing the Government’s October 23 order of the CVC sending the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) chief Alok Kumar Verma on leave. Salman Khan used to leak papers in school in order to pass and the Indian Premier League would be held in India despite its proximity to the Lok Sabha elections. CBI vs CBI: Supreme Court reinstates Alok Verma as chief, with conditions
In a setback to the Centre, the Supreme Court on Tuesday reinstated Alok Kumar Verma as the chief of the CBI, while quashing the October 23, 2018 order of the CVC sending the CBI director and his deputy, special director Rakesh Asthana on leave. For now, the court has barred Verma from taking any major policy decisions. Read Here
ESIC Hospital fire caused due to illegal canteen, says Mumbai Fire Brigade report
MFB's enquiry report noted that the hospital had an illegal canteen with storage of 20 LPG cylinders on the ground floor of its building. The MFB said that it was highly objectionable from fire risk and life safety point of view. 
Reportedly, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) could not verify if the hospital's building was fire compliant or not as the hospital comes under the purview of MIDC. The MFB has instructed the MIDC fire brigade to verify if the hospital had the necessary fire compliance and occupation certificate and take action accordingly. Read Here

The IPL Governing Council and Supreme Court appointed CoA decided to conduct the popular tournament in India despite speculations that it might be shifted to another country to General Elections.
